This three-phase motor soft starter module (TSR series) is a fully automatic, solid-state relay (SSR) based solution designed for smooth motor startup and shutdown. Compatible with 380V three-phase motors and 50/60Hz frequency, it effectively reduces inrush current during startup, eliminating mechanical shock and protecting motors and connected equipment. It serves as a high-performance, cost-effective alternative to traditional star-delta starters, magnetic reducers, and basic inverters, featuring ultra-simple wiring and no need for external bypass contactors.

Important Notes

  • Default Setting: Factory default is R1 (soft start only). R2/R3 versions are available by special request.
  • Heat Sink Requirement: Must be installed with a heat sink for heat dissipation. Fan voltage for three-phase models is 380V AC.
  • Potentiometer Adjustment: Turning the potentiometer to the midpoint sets the starting voltage to 200V; full adjustment to minimum sets 150V start (0s time), full maximum sets 250V start (10s time to 380V).
  • Power Selection: It is recommended to leave a power margin (e.g., 2.2kW motor use TSR-40WA-R).
