Precautions for Motor Use

  1. Confirm the correct motor voltage before use. For DC motors, also verify that the power supply provides sufficient current.
  2. Do not operate under overload conditions. Overload mainly arises from two factors: torque and shaft stress. The load torque must not exceed the motor¡¯s rated torque; the axial and radial stress on the shaft must not exceed its allowable limit. The actual measured current of the motor under load must not exceed the rated current. A fuse is generally required to prevent motor burnout caused by overload.
  3. Do not store or operate the motor in high?temperature, humid, or corrosive gas environments, as these will degrade motor performance.
  4. When installing transmission components such as gears and pulleys onto the motor shaft, avoid abnormal knocking during pressing?in.
  5. When soldering the positive and negative power terminals of the motor, use a soldering iron at 340¡ãC ¡À 40¡ãC for no more than 3 seconds. Avoid plastic deformation, solder penetration into the motor, or broken wire ends, which will impair motor function.
  6. When installing the motor, check screw length to prevent overly long screws from pressing against internal motor components.
