Motor Usage Precautions
Here is the full English translation of the motor usage guidelines:
- Before use, confirm that the motor voltage is correct. For DC motors, also verify that the power supply provides sufficient current.
-
Do not overload the motor. Overload protection applies to both torque and shaft load:
- The load torque must not exceed the motor's rated torque.
- Axial and radial forces on the shaft must not exceed the allowable limits.
- The measured operating current under load must not exceed the rated current.
- Always use a fuse in the circuit to prevent motor burnout due to overload.
- Do not store or operate the motor in high-temperature, humid, or corrosive gas environments, as this will degrade motor performance.
- When installing transmission components (such as gears or pulleys) onto the motor shaft, avoid abnormal impact or force during press-fitting.
- When soldering the motor terminals for power connections:
- Maintain the soldering iron temperature at 340°C ± 40°C.
- Keep the heating time within 3 seconds to prevent plastic deformation.
- Ensure solder does not flow into the motor, and do not break the wire ends, as this will impair motor function.
- When installing the motor, check that mounting screws are not too long, to avoid damaging internal components of the motor.
